The phone rang again. He thought about not answering it. It might be Sookie, but could possibly be the Queen and while one was a pleasure the other brought nothing but immense aggravation to him. Sookie was always a delight and to feel her beneath him… best not go there when he was trying to work. Sophie-Anne on the other hand was nothing but a pain in the neck with her ceaseless queries into his business, the money her only concern.
Was it really so much to ask to just be left alone to work on his vampire data base.
