Eric didn’t like this separation. He longed to have her back in his life. He thought he could handle being away from her this long and it just wasn’t working. Work was piling up because he couldn’t concentrate. Her silence was deafening. Multiple times he had pulled out his phone and started to dial but ended up putting it back in his pocket. In a fit of pique Eric threw his computer across the room.
He knew he was going to have to bite the bullet and call her.
“What do you want?”
“Fine Pam I’ll take you shoe shopping.”
