The Silos are quiet tonight
Elsewhere, not far away, is the hole--
the place where God's hand touched the earth.

They all claimed they saw it, these hungry and tired,
These children of the appocolypse

this is the darkness, this is the void
this is the emptiness left in our eyes

and here is the place that God left behind
