lost in translation, still
i've been dating a woman (rita) from hungary, who is in guatemala for a fair trade project. her spanish is better than her english, so we have some difficulties communicating sometimes. she's only here for four more weeks, and i don't want to do the distance thing, so we're not getting too serious.
i'm definitely enjoying being with her, but am also wanting a relationship that has a chance at something more serious.
my teacher got a day job and had to cancel classes with me a few times in the last two weeks, so i need to find a new teacher. hanging with friends and rita who speak in spanish is sometimes difficult/frustrating for me, but overall good b/c it keeps me on track to learn more/faster. and... i am excited to speak/understand the amount that i am.
