School...
It's amazing how leaving home can grow you up so quickly. I mean college is good too, but it's something about leaving home that really does it. I love it. Learning the area. Learning how to balance everything--family, school work, practicing, SLEEP, partying...it's all so important and being away helps you do it by yourself and learn your own habits and develop a sense of self. I just love it. Although I can't wait to go back home to see the family and dance with my teacher Ms. McDonald, I'm still enjoying my new "life" out here.
I'm progressing. I feel it. Real ballet is kicking my butt, but it needs to, and I'm loving it. I've been on the train a couple of times and outside of the BoCo block and it just showed me that there's so much more to my school than the actual school. I'm having a good time and I'm growing most importantly. As an artist, an individual and as an adult.
I miss me some Teila!

P.S. Frank got into one of the senior directed shows!!! I'm so proud of him! The blackies are representing!
