Quite frankly, I'm wondering why I didn't think of this before.

*thoughtfully* The trick here is that we can't go back to my particular reality, as Peter's only sixteen then and hasn't done anything wrong yet. Theoretically, though, if we use Sirius' and my home-dimension and then step sideways and forward so to speak, we'll find a traitor version of Peter before long. *Briefly, he leafs through a book titled ( Read more... )

((Augh, I'm so sorry. Hooray for work.))

*tilts his head so he can read upside down, something he perfected in his teenage (living) years*

Very likely. Willow and I have a knack for finding other versions of our universe. They seem to pull at us, actually.

When we get there, do you have a good idea of where an older Peter would be found?

...You're kidding me. What are you doing here?

*raises an eyebrow at Einie* What am I doing here?

What are you doing here? I don't want to take a talking dog with us to England.

I asked you first!

Remus is a friend of mine.

I'm going to England with Remus and Sirius to get something.

I'm afraid Remus being your friend doesn't preclude the possibility that we have common interests.

Might I ask what?

You can ask Remus. I don't know if he wants me to say or not.

It's really more his and Sirius' business, the way I understand it. But I'll do what they can't when they're done.

*mildly* Oh dear. Was there anything unusual in it? I believe he's experiencing some psychic side-effects as well.

*airily* I'm not sure. I didn't really watch Deidre when she mixed it up.

Psychic? How unfortunate. We all had some. I suppose it just affects dogs differently.

*Looks from the dog to the man and back a couple times. Clearly they aren't friendly, but he really doesn't care to go into that if he can avoid it.* Mmm, perhaps when we return from England, if he is still suffering the after-effects, I might speak with her? I'm not sure if I can determine what caused the problem, but I'd like to try to help poor Einie...

Of course. I wouldn't want Einie to keep suffering either.

*this is clearly a lie, but he's being diplomatic*
