Ahem. Obviously what I didn't get round to was pointing out that we always play crap in friendlies and that Spain too have a marvelous side - almost as elegant in their simple passing maneouvres as 70s Brazil or Italy today. I can honestly say though that I'd rather support a losing team than a winning one with supporters like that. I'm sure it's a minority but it's clearly a very large one. Remember how shameful the problem we had with the hooligans was? This must be so much worse for the Spanish fans who somehow don't see the wit in making monkey noises at black people.
