What would your dream occupation be?
"Mummy, when I grow up, I wanna be an airline pilot."
"Granpa, when I grow up, I wanna be a fighter pilot, banging and shooting just like in the movies."
Weren't until puberty when I went up to my mother and said quite seriously, "Mum, can I be a slut when I grow up?"
"Of course, Pierce," she said. "You can be anything you want to be."
I don't think she heard me clearly (it was loud, she probably thought I said 'suit' or something, but why I'd want to be a businessman is anyone's guess), but I've always remembered. I can be anything I want.
And then I became an actor and got to shoot things up and make big noises.
