^ i mean it, what is this thing?

Anyways, school's over, finally, three years down, another 5 or so years to go, yay!...grades didn't turn out too bad, didn't flunk any class, didn't do incredibly well either. I'm just blah right now. Not really looking forwards to the summer right now. I mean, i want the better weather and the out of school thing, but now i'm home (where i don't want to be obviously) and i just feel like a bum cuz i don't do anything. Wednesdays i practice with my combo (still no name, we better figure out one or something before our gig), and now i have to practice with these old guys who invited me into their swing band...at least they are paying for my transportation and hotel in memphis, they wanted to know if i had a spouse or a fiance...mohaha, i wish, that way i don't have to room with some creepy old guy.

Hornacopia is next weekend...can't wait, it's my favorite concert series of the summer, way better than bix in my opinion. I've always talked about having my ska band play there...it'll come true sooner or later, i hope.

I think todays the day i might ask laurie out...who knows, i'll try.

Been coming up with some good ideas for pieces, i can't wait to premiere my band piece. A tone row came to me in a vision so i jotted it down and i think i'm going to put it into bassoon (i think atonal bassoon is by far the best sound, for atonal that is), i'm also thinking about pairing it up with a tenor drum, just doing this same pattern over again, but with each measure dropping out a note (aka the song bingo - B I N G * B I N G * B I N G * and Bingo was his name-o)...i have a new idea for a cymbal ensemble (lol how annoying will that get, mohahaha i love pushing boundries and ticking people off, i figure i can sell out when i'm older)...7 or 8 different cymbals...i'm going to call the piece, yes you guessed it, Cymbalic Metaphor...haha.

Well that's all, i'm going to work...cafeteria duty, yeah...that means alt rate ($8) plus an extra dollar...yay!!

And as Bob Barker always said as a goodbye "Remember to help the pet population! Have your cats and dogs spayed and neutered."
