One year of Freak Camp...wow
A year and a day ago, lavinialavender and I began writing A Monster By Any Other Name.
Over 200,000 words later*, I have become a better writer, a better thinker, and capable of using basic html coding :D, all because of this fic and wonderful people reading and encouraging it.
I have tons of analogies about little baby monster-fics turning into big adolescent monster-fics on a steady diet of angst and heart's blood, or stepping into Fairy for a night only to come out into a whole different world, but really this experience is more than that, and that exactly, and far too big to try to describe in one little post (when I'm sleep deprived), but far too cool to say nothing at all.
