Glenn's birthday spam
That's right, folks - it's the other big man's birthday today! Little chance of me ever forgetting it, as it's three days after mine. (We won't talk about how he's five years younger than me, will we? Hey, maybe I should get me one of those classy "Cougar" necklaces like Vickie Guerrero's wearing these days . . . -facepalm-)
Ahem.
Okay, so in honour of Glenn's birthday, allow me to present, in true bros_destruct tradition, the birthday picspam!
Kinda figured we'd start out with some old pics of Glenn when he first started wrestling. Now, I have to thank my best gal panthology for these, because she's the one who hooked me up with Dutch Mantell. Now, Dirty Dutch Mantell is a figure of note in wrestling, and he mentored both Glenn and Mark in their early years.
Dutch has a book out, and his blog includes some lengthy excerpts, including this chapter on one of his "University of Dutch" famous alumni, namely Glenn. Or "Big Glenn", as Dutch calls him.
It also included these pictures, which I am reproducing without permission - sorry, Dutch, but they're too good not to share with my gals here!

Is he not absolutely freakin' luscious? Hell, I can even forgive the blonde hair (Glenn, honey, what were you thinking back then? -gigglefits-) just for all that gorgeous naked skin and the athletic shorts!!

Hey, little web trawling and I came up with another one of him in tighties! This is from his days in Smoky Mountain Wrestling as Unabomb. That really is . . . DAYum!! ;-)
And yes, I'm well aware this isn't Glenn's favourite gimmick, and again with the blonde hair (although he didn't always bleach it during this run) and the bad teeth, but here's Jerry Lawler's dentist, Isaac Yankem, DDS. For the record? Isaac's ring entrance, which included him stripping off the dentist's smock? Was HOT! Then again, that could just be because I'm always up for Glenn stripping! ;-)
And yes, rounding out the old gimmicks with this one that Panth found for me - this time, the hair's dyed black, as Glenn takes on the rather thankless role of "Diesel" after Big Kevvie decamped to WCW.
Some old-school masked Kane now and despite my stated fondness for the red tights ;-) I'm sticking with these couple because I love the nipple peekage through the seethrough parts of his singlet in this costume!
I love Wrestling Valley for the fantastic wallpapers people post there!
And I have to include Kane in the half-mask, because I loved it when Kane really started to talk!
This is a cap from the RAW Tenth Anniversary Show, because oh my God, Glenn in those black jeans, and the black shirt and the mask, with the hair in a ponytail? Utterly, incredibly, totally fuckable. Seriously.
In fact, he's so fuckable, let's have a few more caps from this DVD, shall we? ;-)

Being interviewed by Terri Runnells about how he used to set people on fire . . . um, who cares what he's talking about? I just love hearing him talk! Oh, if there's anyone out there who knows how I can copy clips from these DVDs, let me know - because there's a couple of moments really worth sharing! This being one of them!
This one makes me laugh! He's describing how he went to Firestarters Anonymous, and how he had to stand in front of the room and hold his hand up and say, "My name is Kane and I am a firestarter." But what really cracks me up is Linda McMahon's amused expression in the background!
I'm including this one because I love the friendship it's obvious these guys share - although of course I'd rather see Kane teamed with with 'Taker!
And this one because it makes me giggle - I remember the naughty little boy look Kane had when Boogey gave him a handful of worms . . . right before he tossed the worms and hit Boogey so hard, he ended up on the unemployment line! ;-)
This one's just for utssq - look, hon - a big old hook! ;-) And phwoar, how sexy is that chain against that naked flesh huh?

The other trip Kane did last year was to India - here's a cute one from Mumbai. I knew those standies were shorter than real life!
I have this utter fascination with Kane in blue jeans. You toss in that white shirt and . . . yummy!
Glenn met Ashkay Kumar, a Bollywood star, while in India, and the reports of this meeting make great reading. There's an article here, and I've got scans of the cover and article from Hindustan Times.

Oh Lord, this picture is so adorable, it makes my uterus hurt! That little girl is such a cutie, and Glenn is just . . . well, hell, you all know. ;-)
I know everyone here joins me in wishing Glenn the best of birthdays and a terrific year to come. And hopefully plenty more of them on our TV screens, and pretty pretty please on SmackDown with Mark after the Draft, with perhaps a stint as the Brothers of Destruction? Please? ;-)
