Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Unsurprisingly, Baroona is tall, thin and lanky. I have him pegged at anywhere between 5'9" to 5'11" in height, idek. He's tall.
2. How old is he?
18/19
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He slouches often, mostly due to how he fights with his weapon draped around his neck and shit. Also because everyone in Ares slouches.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Baroona is in incredible shape. In fact, there's not much of him that isn't muscle. He's a soldier, an ex-gladiator, and an ex-slave. The majority life has been fighting and training for fighting. And before that it was farmwork, so.
The only thing he could quite possibly have is some form of PTSD? From killing his master/being a slave. He also has trouble sleeping because of this.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Baroona's movements are, surprisingly, extremely fluid and graceful. The way he fights is practically a dance and mainly relies on how he moves his body to deliver a powerful strike.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Baroona is pretty attractive, but not amazingly so. However this doesn't prevent canon from making him the... only character to actually attract women with his looks. Most notably with his smile. At times he can have fairly feminine features, most notably his lips. He sees himself as fairly normal.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Baroona's most desirable feature is his skin, which is abnormally pale despite the amount of time he's spent in the sun. He's scarred, but not obviously so somehow??? But being a slave/gladiator, he's obviously got to have some somewhere.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Baroona doesn't care about his hair and it shows, since it constantly looks like he has bedhead. His hair is naturally black, and while not coarse, not exactly soft either.
9. What color are his eyes?
I'm just gonna say they're brown.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Two tattoos/brands; one large one on his back, the other on his right shoulder. They're the same symbol. Daraakian slave tattoo/brand.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
Jaw, back, um... IDK.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
It's varied enough, but tends to always be fairly baggy to hide how thin he is. Bulk makes him more intimidating, after all. Or it at least gets people to take him seriously.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
His clothes are baggy as hell, but don't get in the way of his fights. He's very comfortable in them.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
The way he dresses for the Temple mercenaries is different from how he dresses normally, yes. But not too different.

Briefs but it's not unusual for him to go commando.
Speech

It's deep, but not as deep as it could be.

He speaks quietly and calmly, but is often heavily guarded when he talks. He'll answer a direct question, but won't go out of his way to explain or anything.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?

No. Well. When he's speaking to someone of authority he tends to be perfectly polite.

Impromptu all the way.

Unless it relates to survivability or war, he's relatively inarticulate.
Mental and Emotional

Street-smart, but he's a very fast learner.

He thinks on his feet for the most part.

Intuitive and practical.

None. He's entirely self-taught.

Fighting, surviving and cooking, but he's interested in just about everything he doesn't know about.

For the most part he's pretty chill. It's only in situations that are similar to slavery/have slavery-related topics that his mood swings to normally that of a sadness/anger/shut up

He's suspicious of new people, but acts relaxed. He's still not used to the people he knows sticking around for too long thanks to the arena.

Fight. Unless the opponent is too strong.

Prooooobaby PTSD.

Getting captured by Daraak, meeting Marino, becoming a champion, killing Marino, escaping, arriving at Temple Mercenaries and meeting Michael and Ares, fighting Ouranos, Michael's [SPOILER], saving Clara.

He's scared of getting captured again. And afraid that someone will ask him about his tattoos/brands, but that leads back to being scared of being captured.

Surviving. Living until old age or dying in battle. Seeing Clara grow up safe.

He was a slave.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
HA. Baroona honestly doesn't feel anything for his parents. After being captured by Daraak for his parent's involvement in a rebellion, he turned his anger on them. Unfortunately they were dead by the time he was captured so you know. He couldn't yell at them.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
No.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
None.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Marino was practically his father figure. Moreso than his own father. And he probably considers Ares to be a younger brother or something.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Ares and Michael. They met while trying out for the Temple Mercenaries.
6. Does he have other close friends?
Gohu, Douglas, Robin, um... god who else was in Ares...
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
He doesn't really talk and mostly tries to keep to himself, but he doesn't necessarily have trouble making friends.

Friends.

Single.

No.

In that weird way that the first person you really fucking admire is kind of your first crush, Marino. But he quickly was elevated from that to Father Figure and any romantic feelings for him were dropped in favor of just. Pure admiration. He doesn't have a latest crush, due to being over-sexualized as a slave.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Someone who's stronger and more powerful than he is. It pretty much means he can rely on them to stay alive.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
He kind of adopted Clara as his little girl/sister.

The closest thing to a rival he had was Ouranos.

Probably X, but otherwise a 2 or a 3. But he really doesn't have a sexual drive anymore, to be honest.

Sex is meaningless to him. All it is is something used to make him or someone else (normally someone else) feel good. He's never been in a situation where there was romance involved in it and therefore doesn't associate romance with it.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
He's rough out of habit and likes it when his partner can rough him up as well. But secretly, he's turned on by tenderness and gentleness. Not that he'd ever, ever say that.
Beliefs

He's neither.

His morals and ethics are easily compromised if it means he'll die, with the exception of a few. These few include killing a defenseless opponent, and anything regarding slavery or resembling it.

He's curious, though if it's too different then what he's used to (LOL MODERN LIFE) he can be a bit blunt and somewhat insulting about it.

... Look he can be kind of sexist but that's because Ares is kind of based on Ancient Rome and they were kind of dicks like that.

He's comfrotable. Not all that wealthy, but not homeless. It's a nice experience for him.

In canon? I think he's a nomad. In CNC? He lives with his husband Yusuke.

In canon he fights and is extremely skilled at it. In CNC, he helps out around the Mumu house since he can't... really do anything else.

He eats fast, a behavior learned from the arena. He has had alcohol before but doesn't really love it. He prefers water. He'll never skip a meal.
