hello all!
i figured i'd make a post since i haven't in a while!
Life in Norwich is pretty much fantastic still, lots going on all the time! My classes are definitely being put on the backburner, but I am doing the amount to keep me still in good standing and whatnot.
My classes are definitely different from what I am used to. I love my museum studies class, it's really pretty fantastic, every class in interesting for the entire two-hour duration.
My other classes are...not so much. Categories and concepts is interesting, but i really still have no idea what the class is about, and what we're meant to be getting out of it.
I was really looking forward to my modern Indian art class, but the professor is really kindof butchering it!! He talks about theory, and we hardly see any images at all, and then he won't put any of the theory into context. And then he gives confusing readings which we're supposed to talk about in class to figure out, but we just end up getting more confused. I think that class has the potential to be really interesting, but its just not happening. Its the most boring three hours everrr!
But other than that, life is pretty much great! still lots of partying and going out and fun times. there have been a few cute british boys around... :-P its definitely been fun !!
i went to cambridge last weekend, man what a beautiful city! I want to see a lot more of the UK while i'm here. definitely going to plan some short UK trips around places. My flat's been talking about going on camping trips to the coast in the summer. i really hope that happens, that would basically be the best time!
I'm planning my eurotrip! it's going to be so good! I'm going to Dublin for St. Patty's (along with the rest of everyone I know!!) and then heading to Brussels to start off the euro trip! then i get back and i'm going to Amsterdam for four days...then back to uni! and of course i'll be planning trips during may/june since we definitely have no classes then. going to be amazing!
anyway, i miss you all! i hope Maine is not as cold as it usually is, and that this semester is going well for everyone! :-D send me updates!!
