Mind control slowed by financial setbacks

Basically, I was hoping to have amassed dozens of dollars by now, with which to have done something fun that would allow me to cause others to do things that I want and stuff. But instead, the vortex of debt and rising prices has sucked away all of my mind control experimentation earmarks.

I suppose that to get what I want, I'll just have to resort to old fashioned persuasion and saying "Please".

Sigh.
