Quick update
Pros:
1.) Drum corps season has started and my boys are causing babies to be thrown just like the old days!
2.) We have central air conditioning so I turned it on today.
3.) I've got the funds to do a bit of a remodeling project.
4.) Props Guy brought over a game console with classic video games. I've been playing Zelda for SNES all night!
5.) My job could suck worse than it does right now.
6.) I have lots of great people in my life, including one very special (but not short-bus special) person.
Cons:
1.) I won't get to see any drum corps for another month and then it will be all over until next year.
2.) The A/C will put us in the poor house.
3.) The funds for the remodeling do not pay for someone else to do the actual work - I have to do it. Hopefully I can get someone to help me with it (hint, hint)!
4.) Because I played video games all night I didn't get any cleaning done at all.
5.) My job really sucks - I had to lay off a bunch of people recently. Still I must remain on the bright side of things (see #4 above).
6.) I would rather just chill, hang out, and have great times with the great people in my life than actually "do" anything constructive.
