My computer gave me a fright of my life today, crashing in a really scary looking way. I thought its video card had died, or something like this... and I am afraid we don't have any kind of warranty for it any longer. Fortunately, Anton resurrected it, whew! But yeah, if I'll disappear for a long time you know what to think: it's my computer, not me. This scares me because I have one zombie program, that doesn't exist any more and will not be comparable with the new OS.... why it's so important? Because IT"S MY FAVORITE DRAWING PROGRAM! :((((
From other news....
My cats are going along pretty well, Ginko and Chiba play all the time together. Ginko is not allowed outside yet, so when Chiba is getting overwhelmed he escapes to the garden.... and he brought me a dead robin as a gift yesterday from his expedition. Grandpa Onyx is fine with the little guy too. Of course, Ginko is getting his dose of scratches and bites but that's how tough guys are made. And one have to be tough around here.... You know what? I just realized, that now I have 5 (five!) males in the house, with me being the only female. Guess I have to be toughest one to survive! :D
Which brings me tо the next topic: I am going to belt test in 25 days. I have to know 25 SD techniques, three animal forms, some club and knife defenses, intercepting kick combos, and a bunch of other stuff like Jiu-jitsu locks, and so on. I'll try to do my best to get ready. I am afraid, though, that all and all the test will be a many-hours sparring instead. I like technical stuff way much more than sparrings.
Those crazy raccoons are coming every night to our patio for the grapes, making a lot of fuss and noise. It's fun to watch them, but they poop down to my patio too! :(@) Ungrateful little bastards. So Anton had smacked a couple of them with the broom the last night.... It was such a hilarious scene I thought I'd die laughing! :D The patio is still a disaster, though :/
The last Saturday we went to the
Colo ren fest, which was boooooooooring.... as usual. I know I am spoiled, still. My son and his best buddy had a ton of fun, though, and there was a new knight... new Sir Bad Guy, but he wasn't very impressive, so the crowd kept cheering "Sir Roderik, Roderik!" (the usual Sir Bad Guy who was Sir Not-so-noble Second this time :)) Bnyaaaaaaa...
Personally, I had more fun time shopping at an Ikea on our way back:P
Much more interesting event in Colorado the last Saturday was this one:
That's why it's so interesting - and it's rather close to us, too....A high altitude "ice tornado"; only the second one of this kind registered in the US history! Isn't it exiting? 8)
Mmmm.... what else?
Sashka is having a karate camp this week = more time for art and photo combing, if the computer will behave... What else? -
- Oh, and if you haven't seen
Lost in Translation - don't watch it, it's the most boring movie I've ever seen. srsly, it's friggin bad :(
Yeah. I think I am going to bеd now. See ya, everyone, have a good one.
