The Lyric Cinema Cafe is at risk of closing down :(
I just started to wake up slowly from my beautiful asian dream, and to pay attention to what is actually going on around me. The news are not so good:
Our local cool indie movie theatre The Lyric Cinema Cafe is at risk of closing down unless they can upgrade to digital projection equipment now necessary in the movie industry :( They are raising money for it; more information can be found HERE.
I can't help but I'd really love to, so I am spreading the word hoping that it's not too late. It's not only that thinking people should have an alternative to the mainstream movie industry, it's also that The Lyric belongs to my son's best buddy's father.
