Nostalgia...
There are going to be so many small things which are going to remind me of college, of the 5 years I've spent there, the people I met there, the lessons learnt, the good times and the bad times! My playlist just played ..'Runaway Train' by Soul Asylum, and I was instantly reminded of our singalongs in college, some near the flag pole, some in our QUAD, once in the football field (on freshers night). This song always figured on Mark and Zubin's playlists! How much fun I've had sitting through these singalongs.
So many different things one has got used to in these 5 years - Secret Santa, University Week and dressing up according to the theme days, Singalongs, Sitting in the open air Barista on MG Road with friends, cake at the phone booth, free flow, Eastern n Western Night and practice for them, lovely weather, Gulmohar trees coloured in red and the red carpet of flowers under them, walking down the path to the hostel from the academic block..singing to myself and looking up at the star studded sky..wow! Its been a wonderful experience, the time I got to myself to discover myself. Its been a long trip but I've enjoyed every single moment of it and grown at each stage.
It hasn't sunk in that I wont be walking down those familiar paths again, taking snaps of the most beautiful sunsets on earth from our hostel terrace... sigh!
