This may be annoying to some of you, as my old journals clog your "mutual friends" list, but I am ending brooklynnotes. The name just doesn't ring true* anymore. I want to do something else, I want to be a bit more anonymous, and I want to try some new things, while keeping some of the old.

* I live in DC, I am moving to Cairo. I will live in Brooklyn again, but that is a long way off, and having a name so focused on a local geography I no longer live in seems a little weird to me now.
