Jail or Therapy
Susan went to court yesterday afternoon, in leg irons and handcuffed at the waist.
The judge decided that she is a threat to the public and herself so sentenced her to indefinate time in Juvi Lock Up. I asked if I could try to get her into some kind of mental health facility. He agreed but if I couldn't get her in that day she was going to lock up.
I got her into a good hospital. She still has a bad attitude. Today I get to call her and tell her that she's not allowed out. If they don't see a significant improvement she goes directly to lock up until November.
So I have no choice. It's totally out of my hands.
