Yesterday I woke up and baked almond crescent cookies, then a sweet Irish soda bread, and then buttermilk goat cheese scones. The cookie dough was so crumbly that I could only make rounds, not crescents, but I pushed an almond into each one and they turned out pretty good. The Irish soda bread is definitely delicious. The scones ended up more like flat biscuits since the dough was too sticky to really work with, but they still tasted okay. I brought them all over to a pot luck Easter dinner with all my friends who were still in town. We ate too much food, drank a lot of wine, and played Uno and arm-wrestling.

And today I woke up to two inches of fresh snow!
