Brief Update on a Slow Day

Hemi and I spent a few hours playing L4D2 last night. We played through The Passing twice, which went well. After that, I couldn't exactly sleep, so I decided to work on my final drafting assignment for my Contracts Drafting class. I ended up revising the paper until about 6:30 or 7AM. I also sent my professor a long email with lots of questions.

I was surfing around on Netflix to found some background noise and I ended up picking Dollhouse, which I was vaguely interested in but never watched. I'm six episodes in and it's very okay. Not amazing, not horrible.

I slept disgustingly late (big surprise) and then drove around looking for a place to fix my tire. I finally found a Midas that could fit me in, BUT when the guy looked at the tire, he said there was no way it could be fixed since the puncture was too close to the tire wall to patch. Now I need to find out if I got road hazard insurance with my tires. If not, I'm going to have to pay $178 to replace a tire I just replaced in January.

After I got home, I did more work on my contract. My revision is completed and I'm halfway finished with the new part of my assignment. I hope to get it finished tonight, send off any questions to my professor, and then maybe have it done by Sunday night. After that, I'll print it out Monday, see how the formatting turned out (it's a pain), see if there are any errors, then turn it in. It's due Monday at 5, so I think I'm doing pretty well.

I've decided to stay up at my apartment till tomorrow at least, possibly through Tuesday, since I have a review session then. That way, I get more peace and quiet. I love my parents and I know I need to be at home helping out, but there's always something to distract me there.

Oddly enough, this is probably the first time I've stayed in my apartment on a Saturday night without a guest. Weird to think about, huh?
