When elephants fly...
I know I've been a slacker and haven't updated since I got home from Colorado, but I have kinda been waiting on Marc to finish the stuff from our trip, 'cause he said he would, but he still hasn't. I was just going to update when he did that, but oh well.
Anywho, not too much has been happening. I went back to school, yee haw. Always such fun there...
I got inducted into the Spanish National Honor Society on Thursday, which was kinda special. My family and Marc and Brittney came to watch, so it was all good. Brittney even gave up going to see Secret Window (again!) to come watch, so that made me feel all nice inside. After the ceremony, Marc and Brittney and I went to Best Buy to try to find a movie for Britt, but couldn't find it there, so we went to Barnes and Noble instead. They didn't have it in the store, but said they could order it, so Britt was like "Yay!" Of course, it's a Johnny Depp movie - Cry Baby, I think is the name. Marc also bought both Britt and I books to read, both of which we really wanted! We got some coffee at Starbucks, too - yum yum!
Friday, I went to a rehersal and dinner for my cousin's wedding, which is going to be today. I have to read a poem, and wear a dress which I wore to prom last year, so I'm going to feel way too dressy, but at least I get to be involved, right? The dinner was at this old house that had been fixed up and converted into an Italian restaurant, and was muy delicioso! However, I had to sit at the table with all the old people, but I did get to laugh at them all when they had a bit too much wine to drink...
The wedding is tonight, as I mentioned, and it going to be at a little chapel at TWU. It's really cute, but I have definitely decided that I want a bigger church for my wedding - that place it itty bitty! I guess it just depends on what you want, though. *shrug* As long as they're happy!
I'm gonna run now, methinks. Got to take a shower and get ready and all that fun stuff.
