(no subject)
i was thinking that since it's highly unlikely that i'll ever get my shit together long enough to write a book, that i should take all my story ideas and make them into songs. but the other problem with that is that while i am straightforward i am also not succinct and i don't think i would be a very good songwriter. i can barely write one song let alone enough for a whole album
it kind of sucks to have like an innate animal drive to do something but suck at it. i fucking love to write. if i couldn't write, i would die. but what comes out isn't very good at all. i think it was chuck jones who said that if you want to draw, you just gotta keep drawing and drawing, even if it's shit, because eventually you'll get all the bad drawings out of you. i believe that, but i've also been writing for 21 years at least. maybe when i'm like 50 i'll have a book written.
