My vacation in Illinois.
I just got back from my week-long trip to Illinois and I had a great time. First, we went to Talia's house and spent the night. Then the next day we went to Chicago and spent the night there. We also visited the Shedd Aquarium and went ice-skating at Grant Park. That was pretty fun. On the 29th, I slept over at Emily's house. Kim, Kelly, Liz, Grace, Amanda, and Leila were also there. That was probably the most fun part of my trip; getting to see all of my old friends. We went ice-skating and talked a lot. I found out a lot of new things about some people. Like Kim for example. She has a boyfriend named Pete whose a junior. Liz has one named Andy (sophie like me), and Emily has one named Matt (sophie too). Grace doesn't like any of their boyfriends. Lol. She told me that she got in a big fight with Matt... She also told me that Liz has "changed" since she got her first boyfriend, Andy, but I don't think that's really true. She seems like the same person she was before I moved. But she doesn't really hang out with our group anymore. People started branching off. Liz hangs out with Andy, Kelly, and Chrissy (Fielder) a lot nowadays. And Kim, Emily, and Grace are sort of a little unit. OMG, Grace told me she thought that Kim was bulemic or however you spell it. I didn't believe her at all. Kim IS skinny, sure, but she's like all muscle. Grace said she followed Kim to the bathroom and saw her throw up, which I think is a lie. I don't think Kim would ever do that to herself. Besides, she's not like twig skinny, she's athletic skinny. Anywho, moving on. I got to see Kristen and Ali Cella on the 30th. That was really fun. They used to live across the street from me. Ali hightlighted her hair really blonde and Kristen is taller than me now. I think Ali looked better with brown hair before, but that's just me. As far as appearances goes, Kim and the rest of them haven't dramatically changed. There's less of a height difference between us though. Lol. I didn't like Liz's boyfriend, Andy. He was flirting with little 13 year olds right in front of Liz. I would have been amd if I were her. Grace said that he dumped Liz like two monthes ago for another girl and then recently, last month, he wanted to get back together with Liz and she said yes. I don't know what she sees him him. He's not that cute anyway. Lol. Then on New Year's, we went to Selin's house for a party. It was pretty fun, except for the fact that we missed New Year's. Haha. There was no countdown or anything. We were all like "oh, it's New Year's now. Happy New Year's!" Lol. I also saw Erin. She didn't really change much. I would have liked to see everybody else at the party but they were all with their friends. Oh well.
I still have to finish reading The Adventures of Huck Finn for Desilets's class. Grr. I'm only like halfway through it and I'm gonna be spending all day tomorrow finishing it up cause we have school the day after tomorrow.
Right now I'm writing this and thinking about how much I want to move back. As shocking as it may sound, I'm definetly willing to move back even though I only have two years left of high school. Dad said he's looking for job opportunities in Wheaton, but we'll see what ends up happening.
Oh, I forgot to mention one other thing! Kim and everybody else made me this really cool scrapbook with old and new pictures. It was so cool! It had Halloween, Homecoming, and boyfriend pictures in it. And some of Kelly and her 16th birthday and such. It was really nice of them to make it for me. I think I'll take it to school and show some of my newer friends what my life was like back in Wheaton. I miss it there. *Tear* *tear*. Lol. I'm done now. Bye!
