I am now a proud owner of a Gateway laptop. Why? Well because I brought my beloved emachines computer into bestbuy because the hinges were broken. They told me it was a common problem and they would send it in and would be back in 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. Well, 4 weeks later BestBuy calls and wants my permission to exchange my computer. After much hassle I got handed a Gateway computer box and told that I had lost everything that was on my computer, including the cd-rom that I accidently left in it. They also want me to buy a new service plan even though I still had 1 1/2 years left on my old one. I am happy to have a computer again but not pleased at the loss of all my music, my pictures and documents.
