(no subject)
this weekend was kind of weird. yesterday i was supposed to pick up a banquet shift and after i got ready for work i got a call saying the banquet went from 40 ppl to 14 so i did not need to come in. i was kinda sad because i needed the money. friday night i did really well and made over 200 bucks so i was gonna use it to re-upholster the chair that snuggles used as her own. brian and i went shopping ( for like, 3 hours - which made him really cranky ) but i found some amazing fabric that is beautiful and kind of trippy and swirly. unfortunately it was $25 per yard. so i got 2+1/2 yards of that then we went to walmart and got a complimentary olive solid color-at $4 per yard to do the sides and back of the chair. this is my first time to upholster anything and so far it looks pretty good. i'm only halfway done right now, though. today brian went with his dad to watch the rams game at a sports bar. 8 hours later he is just now on his way home. caden ate some pears today and he really liked them, but he has been really fussy so i haven't been able to work on my project at all today. tonight for dinner i'm making chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy and eggs. yummm. i love sunday night dinner. i don't love sunday night dinner dishes though. we don't have a dishwasher, so it's all by hand and takes forever. anyway i'm gonna finish watching king of the hill and try to be productive. check ya later, alligator(s).
