Okay...since I sit here bored with nothing in particular to do at the moment I've decided to entertain the masses with a journal entry.

GA State is so cheap!!!! My goodness. I have never encountered a school so cheap before. And trust me...I went to Morrow, Pointe South, and Jonesboro...I know about cheap schools!

So I come downtown today to work out, do some school and job stuff and see my friend Tiffany. I get here grab a bite to eat at the school and head over the gym. (By the way its Incept day so there are a ton of newbe freshmen walking around campus trying to look like they're comfortable...) Back to the point though...I get to the gym, show my ID and the girl at the gate tells me how the rain flooded downstairs so the free weight area was closed. (Sigh) Thats what I wanted to work with too! So I swipe my card to try and get in and it denies me access. I swipe again and again it denies me. Now this girl tells me that since I don't go to summer school I can't use the gym! If thats not the biggest load of crap ever I don't know what is. I had planned on spending a good 2 hours at the gym working out so I can get all buff and sexy. (LOL) But seriously...I don't know what I am gonna do! This is sooo sad...

Anyway...let's talk about my weekend shall we?

I went to New York last friday morning and we got there friday night. The ride up there went pretty smoothly. We arrived and went to the my Grandma's house. We said hi to everyone over there...and believe me...there were alot of people there! After that me and my family went down the block and slept at my Aunt Carline's house.

In the morning we wake up, get ready and go to church. Everyone was happy to see us and it was a nice day. After church we went back to my Aunt's house and took a nap. My dad slept because he was about to go to Canada and I slept because...well I went to sleep just because! When we woke up we got ready and my dad dropped everyone off at this little mexican restaraunt we always eat at when we go to Brooklyn. My whole family was already there and we ate and had a good time.

Fast forward to Sunday morning at around 5:40 am. I had to wake up because we are going to this park called Playland in Rye, New York. (If you wanna know where exactly that is...don't ask me...)It was a trip for my Aunt's church and she took us along. I suppose you can say that I had fun. It wasn't a totally dreadful time. I didn't know those kids that went on the trip that well apart from two of them so that was a major factor in my fun level. I'm not type to complain though so I ust chilled out for most of the day.

The 4th of July was a rest and relax day for me. We began getting our things together because we were leaving the next day. We went to my Uncle's house and I got to get online for the first time in days! I fed my addiction (thefacebook)...damn right I'm still addicted to it! I also checked my e-mail and sent a thank you e-mail to the lady who gave me the job I got at the State. My dad came back from Canada that night with my three little cousins...we all went to sleep and woke up the next day ready to go. After all our goodbyes and such we found ourselves cramped into the mini-van. The 7 passenger van was holding 9 people and there luggage. So to say the 15 hour ride back home was uncomfortable would be an understatement! It was bad. But we made it so I guess complaining about it won't do any good. I just hope my dad realizes that we're never gonna go through that mess again!

All throughout the weekend I was on the phone during my downtime. I think my parents are irritated with me using the phone. I can't imagine why though...not like I really use it during the day. I talk at night.

On the trip home R.J. called me around 3 am. I wasn't in the car when the phone rang so when I came back my dad was looking at me funny asking me who this girl was that was calling me that late. (Rolls eyes) I told she was a friend. That's all they need to know. Tiffany called me at 3:30 and about 4:40...I wish I could have talked to her but unfortunatley it wasn't to be. The last thing I wanted to do was get on the phone with my parents' ears right there waiting to hear something 'juicy'.

Yesterday I didn't do much. My cousin Jerry came over and we played some basketball. It was fun but I really need to get back into shape. Two weeks off of playing ball daily has really thrown me into a slump...

I made a new friend too. We're supposed to be going out on Saturday night so hopefully things work out for the best.

That's about it for now. I know this was a longer entry than usual but since I can't work out...(grrr)...I have more time on my hands than I thought I would. I'll be back later to give a recap of my day...at least I'll try to do so anyway...can't make any promises!

Ta ta for now kids!
