Whoever said that my life is boring? Drama, makes the world turn. Especially campus drama. Oy.
Anyway, I bought the last 'Wicked' book in town and got a discount for it. Can't read it yet due to school assignments. Might as well save it for my Aceh trip next year, er, month. Meanwhile, I'll just listen to the Broadway soundtrack. 'What is This Feeling' cracks me up, especially the intro of the girls lamenting on their roommates. Kristin Chenoweth's " my roommate is... unusually & exceedingly peculiar & altogether quite impossible to describe" and then the beat of silence followed by Idina Menzel's "blonde!" is gold. Somehow it reminds me of Brooke & Sam from Popular. Er, yes, the song 'Popular' helped that association I suppose.
Caught up with my high school friends. We might get together for New Years, and we might go watch that Broadway Highlights show thing next week. My college friends wants to watch that as well. Would it be a good idea to ask them to go as a group?
Speaking of college friends, not many showed up at Jo's wedding. Not much to say about that event. At least my parents enjoyed some of the food. Went to Kemang Festival with Ling & Gita afterward. Too bad it rained, it was kinda nice to walk at Kemang and browse the goods being sold there..
Things happens for a reason, that's something I just have to believe in. For now. Hee. James Blunts' 'Goodbye Lover' repeats on the music channels aren't helping though.
Now back to the programmed schedule of school work. 3 more weeks. Just 3 more weeks and then semester break. God help me. Especially after I had my first cigarette after 18 months *runs away from
amamiyarin*. And yes, it felt good, mwuahahaha. Besides, nobody likes a quitter *gets bricked*.
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
Because I knew you
Because I knew you
I have been changed for good
