Hehe, no this won't be an entry about the World Cup, although my favorit team did lose, but it was a good fight. Although they could've done better. Oh well. Rooney shouldn't have gotten that red card. Ronaldo, you vixen, you. And what's with the blush? Just make me want to pinch your cheeks, boy!
Anyway, I've been spending my afterwork times with friends, watching the games and playing pool these days. So much for updating LJ more frequently. But hey, I'm actually having a life, yay!
Work was pretty hectic, but this week is pretty much downtime for me. If I want to watch movies, continue cleaning up the storage room (which I did before going to that Traxcoustic thing at Citos on Saturday, bad idea) and do leisure things in general, now is the time.
Btw, Traxcoustic, despite its name, was not anything like unplugged music at all. I know the bands, and they're rock bands. I was there because a friend asked me to accompany her and her bf. Her bf sold it to me by saying that the bands are having a reunion, and they're doing it unplugged. I don't mind rock music, some of my favorite band are rock bands, but the venue was at Liquid Room, where they usually have stripper shows and what not. In other words, too cramped for a rock show. And I was right. Too many people inside the bar and many more still lining up outside. I stood behind the actual bar, where they serve drinks, where they had some sort of screen-thing, but from that place I could actually see the bands perform. Heh, another thing, the venue, for a rock show, wasn't short-people friendly :P. The bands were good in general, so that kinda made up for the shortcomings (heh).
After that I went to a friend's house to watch the football match between England and Portugal, and after empathizing with the British players, crying in defeat, we played pool. Till morning. So, technically, I had a one night stand. Literally. Stood all night playing pool, heh :P.
Might have another 'date' this week. We'll see ^^.
