And as always, Guinever will come, lured by Maglor's music, like a moth to a bright and beautiful flame.

The music stills when he notices her; it was not special music, only emotion half-articulated. He inclines his head and smiles a bit self-consciously.

"Lady Guinevere, hello."

"Lord Maglor." She smiles. She likes him, what can we say? She's always happy to see him.

"Pray not interrupt yourself on my behalf..."

"You interrupt nothing." He sets the harp aside and tilts his head at her, faintly amused. "What am I going to have to do to get you to stop calling me that?"

.....

"Pardon me. I meant no offense." Shyly. "But mayhap..."

She asked before. It didn't work. So.

"I'm just still no one's lord. No offense is taken." Easily. He's quite comfortable with the not being a feudal prince ever again thing. "Mayhap?"

"Wouldst not dub me by my familiar, Maglor, if I dub thee so?"

She nods, a bit numbly. She can't meet his eyes, and tell him that he's the only source of true joy she has.

"T'is not your fault, Maglor." So, so softly.

"No, and still." He knows loneliness, and she hasn't even done anything to deserve it. "I hope you never have to learn to bear it."

Rescue her! She wants you to! She just could never, ever, ever, ask.

"My thanks, Maglor." So softly.

She does, smiling shyly.

But they also have less issues.

He touches her shoulder, light. "Shall I play for you a while?" What? It's how he communicates.
