"It's when you wake up one day and realize you have spent last 20 years of your life working, paying mortgage, car payments, kid's college tuition, etc., and you are now old but have nothing to show for other than a paunchy gut, thinning/receding hair, an unrewarding job that you kept only because you have to make money for the abovementioned items, and a nagging and sagging wife who progressively resemble your mother who drove your dad to drinking.
