Yesterday was a very good day. In the afternoon witticaster came by and together we made a delicious cake and a pair of quiches. Well, she did. I occassionally provided brute force, and menial labor. The results were excellent, outstanding, and a credit to the Corps.
Amusingly, I find myself triple-booked for Saturday, and with nothing on Sunday this Independence Day. Of course, its looking like I might be crossing the Pond on Sunday, so that might be just as well.
Also, it appears that MassDOT has gotten in the habit of closing I-95 North at the 3rd Ave exit in the wee hours of Friday morning of late. Don't ask how I know.
