ode to band camp
i wake up in the morning
pre band camp is today
grab my keys and a breakfast bar
and then im on my way
i get to school at nine o clock
check in and take a seat
the freashman all look paranoid
and i think..haha..freash meat
The heat is at a record high
the sun's a bitch today
even the metal instraments
begin to melt away
when pre band camps done with
you have survived the first few days
but then you get to do it all again
the ferrum college way
learn the show in four days
memorize each and every song
by the end you start to think
the days are just too long
this is my ode to band camp
and to bandies far and wide
together we make music
while we march side by side
