i always figured that bowling really aint my cup of tea.. i went a couple of times when we were young and was more or less coaxed back then into at least trying out the sport.. i honestly cannot remember the last time i did go bowling but after what i reckon was eons ago, i finally gave it another shot tonight.. =) i wouldnt say i'm any better at it but at least i did have a good time tonight..
dad's away with the rest of the family at the moment so today i actually drove my granddad to dinner. being the old folk he is in trying his best not to engage into conversation relating to government politics, like he usually does with dad, he did try to make conversation in an unconventional way.
his question put nicely was - why do you keep shifting gears when your driving an auto?
gosh. i was stunned. what kinda question was that? ermm.. to save petrol, i answered.. and he gave his grandfatherly advice by saying that i really shouldnt.. its hard to please everyone now aint it.. i reckon, good enough i'm actually driving given how many idiots there are who shouldnt be on the roads to begin with.. =P
