Let's see. Saturday night after work I went mini golfing in OOB with Corey, Sam and Emily. That was interesting. Sam lost her ball in the water, Emily almost hit a guy with her ball, and towards the end of it, we were playing field hockey and skiing with our putters. Yeah. Because we're THAT cool. It was actually a really awesome place, but it was just PACKED and you had to wait a half an hour for your turn to go. But it was fun nevertheless.
So yesterday was my first day of work at Target. It was ok I guess. I hate being the new person, but ehh, what can you do. I must admit, we're a crazy bunch there. Everyone is so funny and sarcastic, but they're wicked nice too. Well, for the most part. I could sense that a couple were on the 'ehhh' side, but you can always expect that anywhere you work. I especially liked Julie. She was a riot. She's a pregnant 20 year old who has difficulty closing her mouth lol. I pretty much stuck with her for most of the day, and she gave me tips and things to know about everyone there. People who are cool, people who I should stay away from......it was fun. I especially liked the part where we were eating lunch with some people and all of a sudden Katya yelled out, "Julie's lactating Dave!!!!" Hilarity right there. Oh yeah, and then there's Dave. He's one of my team leaders and he has an artificial leg starting at the knee. He came into lunch and said, "Hey guys....I uhh, did it again." And we were all like "What?" And he goes, "I tried to put my shoe on before putting on my leg." lol And then he whipped off his leg and held it up, and then he jumped back onto it. It was wicked cool. All in all, it was a good day. I was put on cash all day, and then I guess on Wednesday I'm going to be trained for hardlines. Fun Fun. I think I might actually like it there. Once I learn all the ropes, I'll be fine.
So that was that. Then I talked to Dej on the phone for a while last night, and I also talked to my Nana in Ocean Grove. God, I miss that place. But, I won't go onto that subject....... Then I finally called Miss Courtney because I haven't talked to her in like 3 WEEKS! I couldn't stand it any longer. So when she picked up the phone, she was like, "Wow, I didn't know if you were still alive!" lol It was funny. So then we talked for like 3 hours to catch up on stuff and to see what she's been up to and what-not. It was good. I love her and I'm so glad that she's my best friend. I couldn't ask for anyone better.
On that note, I'm gonna go get out of my bathing suit and go have some pizza avec ma famille!! :D
