Note to self: Never go tanning in a bed ever again.
So my butt is now the color of the red sky on my LJ icon and it feels like I am pressing hot embers against it everytime I put on a pair of pants or sit down. Ouch. And I smell like Solarcaine. Eww. Also, I now have this wonderful streak of COMPLETELY white skin that races along each of my sides starting at my armpits and going all the way down to my hips. It's actually kind of funny looking- one side of me is totally scarlet, and the other side is ghost-white. Haha. Funny. Well at least I'm symmetric? Yeah I dunno. Guess I'll have to go into the booth the next time I tan so that I can correct this problemo. I really would not like to be two-toned for Prom. Thankfully my burns don't stay long and they turn into a nice tan very quickly. Yay fo me. See what Prom does to people? I hope I don't get cancer because of this. ha.
Ahh...yeah. So work today. Yeah that was pretty interesting. Bre decided that as soon as I got there, she wanted to leave because she felt "sick". Then Rory called and said he couldn't come in because he was "sick". The difference between these two "sick" people is that I actually believe Rory. So then I was left ALONE in the kitchen from 8-12. Yeah that was tons of fun. Thank God it wasn't that busy. So then since we didn't have Rory there, I had to do cash by myself and then Svetlana was in the kitchen alone. Yup, that didn't last too long because there was NO WAY that only two people could run the store by themselves. So luckily I got in touch with Tyler and he came in for us. He's such a good guy. And I haven't seen him since I saw his band play like last year some time, so it was nice hanging out with him again. And by the way, I could not believe how many guys would come up to the register and say "Happy Mother's Day". For serious, do I look like a mother? Ok, well don't answer that. Just because I'm fat, doesn't mean I'm a mother lol. I remember taking Mallory into Payless one day when I was like 15 and this woman comes up and is like, "aww..your daughter is so cute." I almost flipped. I hate when that happens. It just makes me feel so...........OLD. Eww. I don't want to feel old. So yup. That was tons 'o fun.
Umm.....whatelse. Oh yeah, so now I have a date to Prom. Yay. One less thing to worry about. And Jack is a cool kid. It will be fun.
