This is your life, are you who you want to be?
Wow. So today was definitely not one of my best. The only cool part about it was the fact that we got to see this US Naval band who were actually really good. My twin and I jammed out to all of the songs and then Alicia and I ran and grabbed a bunch of free stuff off of the table that they had. It was great fun.
But then came math and I totally frigged up on a bunch of stuff on my quiz, so I'm not too anxious to get that one back. Then lunch was fine, and then French was wicked boring because we only had 3 people in our class (no joke) so Pres and I just sat and did a bunch of busy work that Madame had assigned for us while the rest of them are having THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES IN FRANCE >:0 Sorry, I am just really crabby right now.
So then after school I went to Loser's to go running- did surprisingly well with that considering I've skipped running for the past 2 days (believe me, it makes a difference), and then on my way back to the school to go to tennis practice, I noticed my battery light was on, and then a couple minutes later, my tape player stopped, and then my radio started to fade in and out. Then when I turned on my blinker to turn into the school, my car started to jerk and my speedometer dial was going hay-wire and was flipping up and down. So thank God I got parked and everything before my car just died. I called home to talk to Roger, but no one was there so I just had to leave a message for him to call me back. After a not-so-good practice, I finally got in touch with him, and he told me to just come straight home and try not to use any blinkers, radios, blah blah blah. So I got home safe, and then Roger wanted to look at my car to see what was wrong with it, so then I tried to turn it on, and YUP! It didn't want to start for me. Figures. So now I have a dead car. AWESOME. But, actually, I talked to Roger about selling it, and he said that that would be a good idea. So I might be getting a new car! I'm excited. So maybe this is a good thing after all. But for the time being, I have to drive my mom's blazer until he can get the engine fixed so that I can drive it until I find a new car. Suits me.
So I know that was a bunch of rambling that I'm sure none of you even read, but that's ok because I wouldn't have read it either.
Oh- I found out today that I made Varsity tennis (woot woot) and will be playing 2nd doubles with Katie. Hopefully I can work my way up to get 1st doubles soon. That would be pretty swell. But, I'm just glad that I'm on varsity anyways.
So now I'm sick of typing, and I should go study for my Economics test tomorrow. OK- BYE!
PS- tomorrow is the day that I bear all. Yes, I think I'm going to do it. It's now or never I suppose. (kim- your probably the only one who knows what I'm talking about ;) ) Hopefully all goes well. After all, the worse that could happen is that I get a 'yes'. hahaha
