Dear Kristen,
Let me start by saying this: You rule. Period.
You're gorgeous without even trying. You're the epitome of cool without even knowing it. You're not awkward or strange. You're genuine and stay true to yourself in the Hollyweird world you live in. That's not just something to deeply respect you for, but it also makes you very admirable.
You're talented and awesome, you flip off the camera and it is not offensive, because you do it with grace and composure.
It's easy to go on and on about how great you are, use expensive words to give you the kudos and props you deserve, but you don't need them. Plus, it would probably make you feel uncomfortable.
You're only nineteen and already you know more about the world you live in and the people around you than plenty of people twice or three times your age.
I wish you'd be more confident about that. About your inner self. I hope somehow you know how many people genuinly admire and adore you - in a non-stalker, innocent way because you're a likable sweet girl whose just trying to figure life out.
I am appalled with what the tabloids write about you. That walking the streets is beyond difficult and you get hounded by paparazzi. I won't tell you it is part of the job, because for you it isn't and it shouldn't be. You don't want to be a star, a celebrity. You just want to make films. Without all the Hollyweird stuff that comes with it. Unfortunately you can't escape it right now, but hopefully someday it'll go away. And if it doesn't I hope you'll continue to carry yourself the way you do now.
Sane people know you're not Bella, even though you portray her with a sense of realism that makes her so much more fleshed out and not a carbon cut out copy of a book-character. And Twilight is not all your career or 'persona' exists off and I am sorry people can't think of any other subject to talk to you about. But keep in mind it says way more about them than it does about you.
Your personal life is yours and understandably you want to protect it. But allow me to bring up the one thing that's very important to you and that you're very protective off: your love life.
It's absolutely no mystery to me how and why Rob fell for you so completely, so irreversibly. And it's incredibly special you feel the same way.
Not because of us "StewRansomites" (Or Robstenites) and our complete and sometimes erratic devotion to you two as a couple.
No, it is special because somehow you two manage to maintain a relationship that's true and 100% real, without letting all the faux-glamour of a Hollyweird romance blind you. That's not very common and quite unique.
Bottomline, don't be ashamed of who you are. Of who you're with. Of who you'll turn out to be. Don't ever change because you think you should. You don't.
I and many others wish you nothing but the best. The absolute best.
I hope that in a few years from now you'll look back at this time in your life and find the good in it. But seeing as smart and self-reflective you are, I am sure you will.
Sincerely,
A fan.
