yankee game
last night i went to the yankee game. it was really exciting b/c i've never been to a postseason game at Yankee Stadium, I've seen the Yankees play at Shea in the World Series Subway Series but not at Yankee Stadium... and you can definately feel it's the post season when you're there. just walking towards it you like get chills... and it was sold-out so every single seat was taken... the crowd was so amazing. (talking like ive never been to a game before, lol). but yea, we sat in the VERY LAST ROW!! ahaha. the wall was behind us... but it was right behind home plate so you can see everything awesome-- better than the first row i swear. So we sit down and we see these guys climbing a latter to go like on the very roof/top of the stadium... at first i didn't get it but they were fucking snipers!! that's crazy...
So we're up in the back with all the die-hards and this guy walks up with a Boston hat on. (no offense, Jess, lol.) So it turns out he's in the wrong section and he has to walk like 50 steps down to go around to his section. so everyone's all like, "Serves u right, asshole!! Walking around with that hat!" lol. it was funny. everyone around me was as die-hard and crazy as me. lol. it's the last row they better be. So anyway, they're always showing clips of the like 11 inning game when we sweeped the Sox during the regular season (everyone's cheering, it was crazy) so i like look over to my side and i see the guy with the Boston hat like fighting with another guy and the Boston guy was like getting the shit beat outta him. lol. it was funny... guess u hadda be there...but what moron would walk into YANKEE STADIUM wearing a RED SOX hat when they're playing the TWINS?!?! asshole. lol.
And I was so embarassed b/c i was wearing my 'property of new york yankees' sweat shirt ((it was freezing out)) and i was walking up from going to the bathroom and all these like old guys were yelling "property of yankees!! come over here!!" and like... making dirty comments... lol. and my DAD was right there!! lol. embarassing... if he wasn't there i wouldve waved. lol.
and btw, my family is soo dysfunctional!! they can't walk through crowds and meesh is bitch all the time and it was just bad... we can't go out w/o showing how dysfunctional we are. but yeah, we lost 2-0... which is just wrong b/c we got 9 hits!! 9!! we should've had 5 runs!! grrrr....
and jess texted me during the game! yay!! lol. it made me happy and feel loved. hehe. then my phone died so i couldn't answer her but hopefully she feels loved anyway. lol. and she shouted out the smappers on the radio so now i feel really loved.
