The Seeker's Journal re-watch and review - 'Identity"

PIcspam prepared for legendland re-watch and review of "Identity".

Review: There was so much that I found appealing about "Identity" that I can't quite figure out why I didn't like it better. It had Shota not only trying to protect the Seeker by very dubious means, not only transforming herself from old woman to glamour icon, but at the end we got to see her utter the prophecy that Kahlan would betray Richard. (Kahlan's wordless reaction-face to this news was priceless). For once I liked the other supporting players - the actors playing Gryff and Bronwyn could actually act. We saw Demmin Nass for the first time - and a Box of Orden.

But for some reason, the episode just didn't grab me. In spite of everything that happened, it felt like a filler episode - a lead-in to something more important.

Final Rating: 3 - Slightly better than average.
