Older. Wiser. Tireder.

It was my Birthday this week (Thursday the 16th).  It was fairly uneventful, partially because few people noticed, and partially because any celebrations were done on other days because I had to go into work that night (We did dinner the night before, and I had a "party" in the loosest sense of the terms on Saturday).

The party was my standard Rock Band party with board games and some family and friends.  There was ice cream cake, and people had fun, so it worked out pretty well, other than I had to do a lot of host-like responsibilities such as catering, cooking, and people herding that I wasn't expecting to, as I was trying to enjoy the party, but we had fun, and I even got the wife to sing some Beatles (She had a blast doing it too, which was good).  No one seemed to mind that there was no floor in the kitchen.

Today, I got to watch football, which is always fun, watch the little one, which is always interesting, and write a paper.  I'm so exhausted from everything that's been happening the past few weeks that I fell asleep while writing the paper, and whacked my head on my desk.  But I got my paper in.  I was in a daze when I wrote the one I wrote last week, and before I give it a final look, the prof had already graded it and given me a 100%.

Now to try and chill for the rest of the night.
