I have a neat little Dashboard widget that queries a server, and then shows me both the current weather and forecast. It usually looks like this:



Cable service went down today in our part of Urbana. I was still using my computer for a few things, and went to my Dashboard to grab a phone number from my stickies. I was rather amused to see what happens when my weather widget can't access the server:
