Haha :) I accidentally posted something saying 'Oh, ignore the first part of that post, I got it...' with my name on it. Typical me :D

It's going ok...I come back to Illinois next Wednesday...bleh. I miss volcanoes already :(

Awww, maybe we can talk the New Madrid fault into looking for some magma so you can have volcanoes to study here in Illinois :( But it sounds like you had fun this summer! :D

Well, that's talent then! Congrats :)

Poor Illinoisan farmers...but man that would be awesome!!! My summer was ok. I might have an actual geology job next summer...we'll see...it was 'x-streamly' boring work though. Our nickname was the 'X-Stream Survey Team'

Since Illinois already has earthquakes and foothill mountains and swamps and prairies and glacial features, volcanoes should fit in nicely :D

LOL, leave it to geologists to name their team something interesting like that! xD I really hope the job for next summer works out for you, and that it's not as boring as this was! (So nice of professors to always leave the routine, dull stuff for undergrads, eh?)
