Spendthrift
I bought the bikini.
But this ONLY after a three-day long quest for something just as appropriate but cheaper. I hit every store in the vicinity. Always the same problem -- either it was full-bottomed and cut into my hips, or it was a string bikini that I could adjust to fit perfectly at the bottom, but out of the top of which I was overflowing grandly.
So back I hauled myself to my black-with-red-dragons bikini shop. And tried on the larger size. And came thisclose to rejecting it because the bottoms (full bottom, not string) were cutting into my hips. And THEN the nice lady who works at the shop offered to let me split two bikinis so I could have a nice sturdy halter top (42) and a nice adjustable string bottom (40). It fit perfectly, it looked fantastic, and sixty million lira were out of my pocket and across the counter before I could even feel guilty.
Swimming tomorrow!
(I've already changed more Euros into lira. I sure hope my overtime pay is substantial. Eep!)
