Hungry?

The kittens are eating everything. Shoebox, receipts, knitting, used up camomile teabag. "Om nom nom" say the kittens. I would think I wasn't feeding them enough but they aren't skinny.

:D Aw! I was wondering how they were doing.

Hopefully they haven't started knocking over the trash cans searching for more food. I came home to that the other day.

The trash can in my room is hidden in my wardrobe and the kitchen door is permanently shut. There is a reason for this!

Good idea! My kitchen doesn't have a door so occasionally I hear a "thud" when Jojo has decided I'm not paying attention to him enough and haven't given him a treat recently.

Kit says I should put a brick in the bottom. I haven't got around to it, but might work for you?

My babies do that too, and they certainly aren't hungry. They are especially attracted to any pieces of paper I want to not be wrecked.

LOL, first Fb comment I got was "That sounds like [our baby's name]."

The cats at my house, though no longer kittens, are particularly fond of chewing on thin wires (like the kind on a cell phone charger) and purse straps. My sister was over for 15 minutes and Costello found her purse and attacked. He's very stealth, too.

Best of luck to you. Kittenhood can be quite trying. I hate the little things, myelf, always making me pet them and falling asleep on my lap. So rude! :-D

I hear you! Mine love wires - all wires - and there have been many casualties in the house already! They've also managed to chew books, magazines, and turned the box they were playing with into a 'flatpack' after two days!

They're also not underfed (though Bella tends not to eat as much as the other two big fellas - who also eat her leftovers!), but just love chewing stuff.
