Little up
This has been a crazy week. Too much work, too little sleep, far too many things on my mind and consequently an extremely unpleasant number of absent-minded catastrophes. I will write about it at the weekend, when I can finally breathe, because I have booked next week and the following two days OFF. OFF dammit OFF.
But in the meantime, here is a little up. An email in my inbox:
Dear Ms Jones,
Thank you for your 3rd Six application to chambers.
We would like to invite you to interview in chambers, and I wondered if you would be available next Friday morning (12th November)? I understand that this is short notice, and you may not be able to make it. If this is the case, would you let me know when you are available, and I can try and find a date in our diary that is suitable for all.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I sent them a CV and a cover letter yesterday. In the post. I mailed it yesterday.
They responded quite quickly, no? Maybe a little gleam of light, if I make chambers respond this quickly with my CVs and my cover letters...
Or maybe they're uber organised. Either way, I've got two interviews lined up on the back of three (so far) applications. One foot in front of the other.
