Yesterday I went to Watford with G and then in the evening to a Family Bar Law Association lecture. Today I was in Rochester, Kent, with a different barrister. Tomorrow G has two hearings and then I've signed up for a pupils' event with Middle Temple in the evening -- just a Christmas drinks, but it's all time, right? G and I were supposed to go

I'm just going to hang out with my friend Janet... We'll go to the Royal Academy of Art (she has tickets and it's late nights on Fridays) and then for some noodle soup somewhere. I'll do a big bash next year, when I turn the big 3-0.

I feel silly I didn't think of getting in touch with you to add to my list of possible girlfriends to go out with! Probably because we've only met IRL twice.

I'm flying home on the 23rd... patchy till then. I'm going a-marketing on Saturday, pressie hunting. Yet to decide which market. Any interest?

Actually I'm seriously considering Portobello this weekend for the same reason, that appeal at all?

Do you think I can find a gift for a ten-year-old there? All I can remember are the antiques!

hm, i'm not sure - there are definitely some quirky things for kids but not particularly toy shops, ya know? it's mostly antiques and then bohemian clothes and jewellery and suchlike.

well i'm pretty certain i'm going to go so if you fancy it just drop me a text in the morning - i don't want to promise you'll find something there but there are an awful lot of stalls and surrounding shops so i think you've got a good chance :)
