Crying

Jan 24, 2009 14:19

I've always said I cry at the drop of a hat. It used to be I would start crying instantly if anyone shouted at me, ever. I gradually toughened up in that regard in my early twenties. Now it takes a prolonged conflict and I can usually get out of the room before breaking down.

But in recent years I cry a lot at entertainment. Dramas, plays, music, adverts. Weep, weep, weep.

It's to the point where "It moved me to tears" really doesn't mean anything, coming from me.

I hate the stereotype that women are more emotional than men because we're all sensitive and hormonal and shit. Yet I seem to embody it.
