BOREDOM.

I am having such a boring day. Normally at the beginning of the month I'd have a lot of work. But I thought I'd save the tasks and show them to my new temp as part of handover.

Except the agency can't seem to find me a temp. I thought Harris Hill CRB'd all their temps, but no, apparently not, so by asking for a temp that's CRB checked (NSPCC requirement) we're narrowing the pool to, um, well, basically no-one.

So probably I will have to do the billing, performance management and absence returns without a temp to show them to, but just in case I should leave them till Thursday and Friday, and anyway none of the practitioners have sent me their billing hours or performance returns so I can't do them today.

And I'm the only one in the office because Dan's at a meeting in Peterborough and the social workers are all doing training in Leicester.

Yesterday at least I could do the CRIS (database) work that Janice needed doing and I wrote up an instruction sheet for the new person on how to do the billing.

But now I have done those things and they're done.

ARGH I HAVE NOTHING TO DO.

nspcc, day, work
